Description:

The Associate Scientist will require the ability to perform complex and varied experiments with the guidance of scientific staff and carefully document experimental procedures. The ability to multitask is critical as well as performing experiments quickly without sacrificing quality. This position also involves participation in troubleshooting of assays using knowledge obtained from significant laboratory experience. It is expected that the Associate Scientist possess a fundamental knowledge of immunochemistry and use this in communications with senior scientific staff to ensure the understanding of scientific issues over the entire project team.

Requirements:

The successful candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in science or related field and relevant experience of four or more years is highly preferable. An advanced degree may be substituted for experience. Technical knowledge in key areas of serology and cell-based immunoassays, experience at the bench - particularly in ELISA, and GLP laboratory experience is highly desirable.
