Assistant Scientist, Dose Formulation Analysis

Description/Responsibilities:

The Dose Formulation Assistant Scientist performs a variety of technical procedures such as preparing solutions and reagents, performing routine sample preparation procedures, analyzing samples according to established HPLC/UV methods, and judging and monitoring assay quality. The incumbent makes and records observations, performs calculations, and collects and prepares data for evaluation. The incumbent maintains lab equipment and samples, supports lab safety, and complies with GLP standards.

Requirements:

• This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field with one or more years of relevant experience or an Associate’s degree with two or more years of relevant experience. An advanced degree may be substituted for experience. Must possess the ability to follow scientific direction and be team-oriented. Experience in a GLP laboratory is preferred.
