Description:

The Biomarker Scientist II builds on past experience, skills and personal attributes of an accomplished bioanalytical scientist. The position involves applying a comprehensive analytical skill set to client needs in the development and implementation of profit-generating biomarker assays. The advanced use of chromatography and mass spectrometry instrumentation, development/validation of methodology, wet-laboratory sample extraction, interpreting of data, interacting with clients, and working to objectives/timelines are integral to this position. The position will also involve overseeing the application of the validated methods to routine sample analysis within the biomarker team.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree with appropriate and current bioanalytical chemistry experience (two or more years) preferred. 
• LC/MS/MS experience preferred.
• Experience in GLP quantitative analysis laboratory preferred.
• Affiliated with professional institutes and organizations.
• Successful performance in position leads to additional scientific opportunities with associated recognition.
