Description:
We are currently seeking a
Director of Chemistry, R&D to join our Accelerated Chemistry team
in Knoxville, TN.
The Director of Chemistry,
R&D directs company efforts to develop, validate, and/or revise
synthetic methods of rapid production of drug compounds for research
and clinical use incorporating micro-fluidic technology. Further responsibilities
include ensuring that synthetic methods and instrumentation are suitable
for commercial use as a rugged and reliable approach compliant with
GMP and other regulatory guidelines.
Requirements:
- The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. in chemistry with 10 or more
years of experience.
- Strong project and personnel management skills are essential.
- Knowledge of FDA, cGMP and GLP as well as experience with Nuclear
Medicine is preferred.
- Experience with short-lived radioisotopes as well as proper safety
and handling procedures is preferred.
- Will require some travel up to 10%. may be substituted for experience.
