Description:
The Discovery Scientist position
requires an individual with strong bioanalytical LC/MS method development
and troubleshooting skills. The position involves developming non-GLP
discovery bionanlytical methods followed by minimal validation and subsequent
sample preparation and analysis of discovery sample sets in various animal
matrices. Experience with tissue analysis is a plus. The individual
will function as a member of a team of discovery scientists and project
work my be performed independently or in a team structure. Good
documentation, communication, and organizational skills are required.
The individual will review study data and initiate final data release.
Requirements:
This position requires a minimum
of a Bachelor's degree in science, preferably Chemistry, with relevant
experience of three or more years. Experience in a GLP quantitative
analysis laboratory and an affiliation with professional institutes and
organizations is preferred.
This position is located in
Ithaca, NY. Relocation assistance is available.
