Technical Support Specialist

Description:
The Technical Support Specialist
builds and maintains a relationship between Advion and its customer base
through pre- and post-installation communications to determine their needs
and problems, and coordination and scheduling of installations. Provides
a first line of technical and applications support to customers and may
provide onsite assistance at customer sites. Supports the product management
function with documentation, tracking and analysis of customer information.
Requirements:
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in
a related scientific/engineering field with relevant experience in chemistry,
chromatographic separations and equipment, sample preparation, and mass
spectrometry of two or more years. Must be familiar with large and small
molecule applications. Requires excellent communications and organizational
skills, skilled in troubleshooting, and committed to providing exceptional
service.
