Our team designs, develops, and manufactures a wide portfolio of laboratory instruments that ranges from media and columns to consumables, accessories, and instruments for flash chromatography, preparative (U)HPLC, analytical (U)HPLC, mass spectrometry, ICP-MS, coupled with intelligent apps and software. We are currently looking to fill the following position:

Hiring Range: $225,000 to $275,000

Position Summary
In the role of Senior Vice President, Global Commercial Operations, you will serve as the principal architect of our commercial strategy, assuming direct responsibility for the comprehensive commercialization of AIS’s products and services. Leveraging your extensive expertise in market access, commercial analytics, and the formulation of global sales strategies, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the achievement of objectives, with a particular focus on surpassing predefined benchmarks. Your leadership will be instrumental in steering our commercial initiatives towards sustained success and market prominence.

Principal Responsibilities

Leadership: Lead the establishment and management of a high-performing business development and sales team by setting precise goals and cultivating a culture of excellence in sales performance.

Strategy Development: Devise and execute our comprehensive commercial strategy, meticulously identifying market opportunities and defining target customer segments to maximize business impact.
Business Development: Proactively pursue and capitalize on new business opportunities and strategic partnerships, employing industry best practices to guide the development of compelling proposals.
Revenue Generation: Champion growth initiatives through the formulation and execution of effective sales and marketing strategies, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.

Customer Relationship Management: Nurture robust relationships with key customers, diligently overseeing their satisfaction and implementing strategies to enhance client retention.
Marketing: Stay abreast of industry trends, providing strategic support for marketing campaigns and actively contributing to branding activities, fostering a dynamic and responsive market presence.

Key Responsibilities
• Develops and implements an operational road map for the Commercial Operations team to establish industry best practices for governance, business processes, and technology to enable scalability and sustainability.
• Drives key commercial operations functions including salesforce sizing, alignment, targeting, territory metrics, incentive compensation, data tool training, and fleet services.
• Drive sales team effectiveness through territory planning, sales performance tracking, development and delivery of targeting, and act on opportunities to optimize performance against operational KPI’s.
• Lead effort to define, implement, train and maintain CRM and data tools for the Commercial organization.
• Ability to support multiple sales teams across life science tools and consumable areas
• Plan for scaling and growth of the Commercial organization to match increasing growth
• Key member of cross-functional team to design and implement incentive compensation program including measurement components, quotas, and bonus programs.
• Manages team members to ensure commercial operations tactics are delivered in line with the team’s operational roadmap aligned to AIS objectives.

Qualifications
• 10+ years’ experience with a minimum of 5 years leading people leaders
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a related Life Sciences subject area
• Must be willing to travel 50%
• This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.

Base compensation ranges from $$225,000 to $275,000. Various factors, such as experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs determine specific offers.

This role is eligible for commission.
